Sustainable Management of Land and Water is fundamental to global security, in the face of climate change and increasingly erratic weather. VIKSAT aims to develop sustainable Land and Water Management practices that contribute to the conservation of Natural Resources.

VIKSAT adopts a holistic approach to conservation that empowers rural communities to analyze, decide, and act in order to ensure the sustainable management and use of the natural resource, as well as to improve the sense of well-being among the community.

Clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene are human rights, to which millions of people do not have access. Goal 6 of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aims to ensure that everyone has access to safe water and sanitation in a sustainable manner. In support of the SDGs, VIKSAT initiated various WaSH activities.

Institution and Capacity Building aims to strengthen the skills, instincts, abilities, processes, and resources that the CBOs and rural communities need to survive, adapt and thrive in a fast-changing world.

Each one of us matters, has a role to play, and make a difference. Each one of us must take responsibility for our own loves, and above all, show respect and love for living things around us.

Networking plays a vital role in fostering collaboration and synergy among organizations working towards common goals. Recognizing its significance, VIKSAT places great emphasis on networking initiatives to create meaningful partnerships and enhance its impact. Through strategic alliances with various stakeholders, VIKSAT aims to build a strong network of like-minded organizations, government agencies, community-based organizations, and experts in the field of sustainable natural resource management. These networking initiatives enable VIKSAT to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and collectively address environmental and socio-economic challenges, ultimately leading to more effective and sustainable outcomes.
